My good friend and colleague Nick Redfern may have that answer ! Click the link below to read what he has to say. Lair of the Beasts: Monsters and Proof : Elusive Evidence CommentsDonnie Porter 06/26/2011 07:41
I have heard Nick speak on this subject in the past and I find his remarks fascinating and quite plausible. The supernatural aspect will be even harder for some to believe, but it seems to me to be one of the most logical explanations presented thus far. Imagining these creatures one moment and actually seeing them the next would be one thing, but to actually create these images with our own minds and have others report seeing them is truly astounding. I believe this logic can possibly be extended to other topics i.e. UFOs, ghostly apparitions, etc. There is so much yet to be discovered concerning the power and possibilities our enigmatic minds possess. In the meantime, while I believe it is prudent to investigate these topics I also believe we need to be sensitive to the powers we may be delving into and bear in mind our responsibilities when doing so. The deeper I immerse myself into these subjects the stronger my conviction that we have much more control of these creatures than meets the eye – very exciting albeit somewhat intimidating. I, like Nick, and John Keel & some others (Janet/Colin Board, Brad Steiger, etc.), don't think all of these things are entirely "terre-physical"---or terrestrially biological. Think there may well be a para-physical element to their "reality". Some may be biologically material, but others may well not be. When footprints appear "out of nowhere", advance along and then DISAPPEAR INTO "nowhere", you just have to wonder. BF has been seen in Oregon (See Thom Powell's "The Locals") disappearing into a shimmering haze ---"Like in the movie Predator"---and Bart Nunnelly's witness "Roy" (sometimes called "Ray") saw a VERY similar happening (more than once) with regard to the "Spottsville Monster" in Henderson County, KY. Also, Army remote viewers---several of them---"saw" a plesiosaur-like "beastie" in Loch Ness on several occasions both "materialize" and "de-materialize" in that body of water in some of their trance viewing exercises. Rev. Dr. Donald Omand of the Anglican Church also once exorcised the Loch Ness monster for many months in the 1980s (though it came back); something that should not be "do-able" with a flesh-and-blood creature.
